Welcome to The Hidden Room. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our escape room facilities, services, and website located at our premises in Australia. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a session, visiting our facility, or using our services in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

The Hidden Room provides immersive escape room experiences designed for entertainment purposes. Our services include various themed escape rooms, team-building activities, and related entertainment services. All experiences are designed to be challenging, engaging, and safe when proper guidelines are followed.

3. Booking and Reservations

Bookings can be made through our website, phone, or in person. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.

• Advance booking is recommended, especially during peak times
• Late arrivals may result in reduced session time without refund
• Group size restrictions apply to each room and must be adhered to
• Special accommodations can be arranged with advance notice

4. Age Requirements and Restrictions

Participants must be at least 8 years old to participate in our escape rooms. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Some rooms may have additional age restrictions due to content or difficulty level. We reserve the right to verify age and refuse entry if age requirements are not met.

5. Health and Safety Requirements

Your safety is our top priority. Participants must disclose any medical conditions, mobility issues, or other concerns that might affect their ability to safely participate. We reserve the right to exclude participants if we believe their participation poses a risk to themselves or others.

• Participants with heart conditions, claustrophobia, or other medical concerns should consult their physician before participating
• Pregnant women are advised to inform staff and may be restricted from certain activities
• Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry without refund
• Emergency exits are available in all rooms and will be clearly explained before each session

6. Behavioral Expectations

We expect all participants to treat our facility, staff, and other guests with respect. Inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to harassment, violence, vandalism, or disruptive conduct, will result in immediate removal from the premises without refund. We reserve the right to refuse future service to anyone who violates these behavioral standards.

7. Property Damage and Liability

Participants are responsible for any damage to our property caused by their actions. The cost of repairs or replacement will be charged to the participant responsible. While we maintain comprehensive insurance, participants engage in our activities at their own risk and acknowledge the inherent risks involved in escape room activities.

8. Privacy and Recording

Our facilities may be equipped with security cameras and audio recording equipment for safety and security purposes. By participating in our experiences, you consent to such monitoring. We may also photograph or video record sessions for promotional purposes, and participants consent to the use of their likeness unless they opt out in writing.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, puzzles, storylines, and other materials used in our escape rooms are our intellectual property or used under license. Participants may not photograph, record, or otherwise document the puzzles, solutions, or proprietary elements of our rooms. Violation of this policy may result in legal action.

10. Refunds and Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or no-shows will not be refunded but may be rescheduled subject to availability and a rescheduling fee. Weather-related cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, power failures, or other emergencies. In such cases, we will work with customers to reschedule or provide appropriate remedies.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Hidden Room's liability to any participant is limited to the amount paid for the specific session. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability, whether based on warranty, contract, statute, tort, or otherwise.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services after any modification indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New South Wales, Australia.

16. Severability
